Free Income Tax Help – VITA

Free Income Tax Help!  VITA (The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program) offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic Federal and State Income Tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. Appointments are required. Make an appointment in person at the Bedford Public Library or by calling 812-275-4471. Appointments are also available at the Mitchell Community Public Library at 812-849-2412.
