Are you interested in writing a novel? Consider participating in NaNoWriMo, which is short for National Novel Writing Month. NaNoWriMo is a month-long challenge happening all through November where writers flex their creative muscles and try to write a novel (50,000 words) within the month. Celebrate Hoosier Author Kurt Vonnegut! He is considered one of the greatest American writers of the 20th century, known for his works like Slaughterhouse-Five and Cat's Cradle. Celebrating Vonnegut's turning 100 in the month of November, the library will be hosting the presentation Vonnegut at 100: A Century of Stories presented by Chris Lafave of the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library on November 1st from 6 pm to 7 pm.
