StoryWalk: The Leaf Thief
Join us for a Fall StoryWalk through downtown Bedford! From September 26th to October 24th, the picture book The Leaf Thief by Alice Hemming and Nicola Slater will be displayed at 8 locations. Start at the Library to grab your map, then make your way along the route to read the entire story. When you're finished, head back to the Library to get a certificate and a prize!

Celebrate Hoosier Author Kurt Vonnegut! He is considered one of the greatest American writers of the 20th century, known for his works like Slaughterhouse-Five and Cat's Cradle. Celebrating Vonnegut's turning 100 in the month of November, the library will be hosting the presentation Vonnegut at 100: A Century of Stories presented by Chris Lafave of the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library on November 1st from 6 pm to 7 pm.
