Whether you are traveling this spring or enjoying some quiet time at home, you can travel the world with books. Children and teens can read three books set in different countries and earn a prize. Pick up your passport on the Children and Teens floor to get started!
StoryWalk: This Is How We Do It
Bedford Public Library 1323 K Street, BedfordJoin us for a spring StoryWalk through downtown Bedford! From March 13th to April 9th, the nonfiction picture book This Is How We Do It by Matt Lamothe will be displayed at 8 locations. Start at the Library to grab your map, then make your way along the route to read the entire story. When you're finished, head back to the Library to get a certificate and a prize!

Around the World in 8 Days: A Spring Break Staycation

Come explore different countries and cultures with hands-on activities in the Children and Teens Department from March 18-25. Try playing interesting instruments, see if you can guess the mystery item in our touch boxes, and match different foods to their country of origin in a matching game. That and more adventures await you during the Bedford Public Library's Around the World in 8 Days: A Spring Break Staycation!

Tour of Italy Staycation (Adult Services)

The Adult Services department would like to offer you the opportunity to experience Italy all from the comfort of your home. Join us on March 20 at 6pm for an introduction to your week of online events and home activities, then pick up your take home kit and start exploring. Get ready to learn about the Italian culture, food, cities, and so much more with this combination in-person program and take home kit from the library.
