Celebrating Vonnegut's turning 100 in the month of November, the library will be hosting the presentation Vonnegut at 100: A Century of Stories presented by Chris Lafave of the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library on November 1st from 6 pm to 7 pm. This adult educational program is for anyone interested in learning more about this iconic author.

Children's program, 4pm: What do whooping cranes need to live in a wetland? Why are wetlands important? Children and their families can find out through a hands-on activity and presentation from crane experts!
Adult and teen program, 6pm: Learn how to identify Sandhill Cranes and Whooping Cranes by sight and sound, where they live, and all about their history. Find out about the Whooping Crane reintroduction program and how you can a part of the effort to protect them.
