The Camping Kit (Children and Teens)

Stop by the Children and Teen Department to pick up one kit per child while supplies last. While you're here, pick up a calendar of all our upcoming kits and programs, plus you can learn how your child can participate in challenges to win prizes all summer. Remember, reading colors your world!

Outdoor S’mores (Weather Permitting)
Bedford Public Library 1323 K Street, Bedford, IN, United StatesIf you're wanting to get outside in nature and do some fun camp activities but don't want to plan a trip, this Outdoor S'mores program at the Bedford Public Library is perfect for the whole family! Make 'Walking S'mores', create sunscreen art, practice tying knots with rope, and see real toads and turtles with Atticus Bartlett, Naturalist at McCormick's Creek State Park. There will even be a nature scavenger hunt to complete for a prize! July 13th @ 4pm. Weather permitting.
