Celebrate Hoosier Author Kurt Vonnegut! He is considered one of the greatest American writers of the 20th century, known for his works like Slaughterhouse-Five and Cat's Cradle. Celebrating Vonnegut's turning 100 in the month of November, the library will be hosting the presentation Vonnegut at 100: A Century of Stories presented by Chris Lafave of the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library on November 1st from 6 pm to 7 pm. This adult educational program is for anyone interested in learning more about this iconic author.

Starting November 7 pick up your kit on the Adult floor complete with resource packet, brain games and challenges, and a daily tracker . Complete the 14 day challenge tracker by training your brain every day for 14 days, then bring it to the Adult Services desk for a reward! While supplies last.
Have you ever wanted to explore Italy, Thailand, or Cuba? Come learn all about new flavors and culinary classics by making your own soup in a jar to take home and enjoy, or gift to a loved one! Children, teens, and their caregivers can register to attend by calling the library at 812-275-4471.
